We’re thrilled to share that our Executive Director, Kathy MacRae, has been honoured with the prestigious King Charles III Coronation Medal. This medal recognizes Kathy’s exceptional contributions to the bear viewing and tourism industry and her remarkable ability to unite people in support of conservation and stewardship efforts in the province. Through her role as Executive Director, Kathy serves as the President of the Wilderness Tourism Association of BC and Co-Chair of the Adventure Tourism Coalition.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Minister Nathan Cullen, Ministry of Water, Lands, and Resource Stewardship, and Deputy Minister Lori Halls (pictured) for acknowledging the significance of Kathy’s ongoing work.
This new Canadian award was created to commemorate the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.
