We’re thrilled to announce that a Track and Sign Certification and Workshop will be offered June 13–14, 2026, at the beautiful Wild Bear Lodge!
This unique course is being led by CBVA Level 3 Guide, Sage Raymond, and offered through Tracker Certification North America, the North American branch of CyberTracker Conservation.
For those unfamiliar, CyberTracker is an internationally recognized organization that originated in Africa, designed to validate and celebrate the tracking skills of local trackers. Its mission has long been to support professional trackers in advancing their work in ecotourism and wildlife guiding.
This kind of hands-on training and evaluation is a perfect complement to the skills and knowledge of the Commercial Bear Viewing Association’s certified bear viewing guides.
Dates: June 13–14, 2026
Location: Wild Bear Lodge, British Columbia
Cost: $600 CAD, includes shared accommodation
Evaluator: Sage Raymond, CBVA Level 3 Guide
Preference for registration will be given to bear viewing guides and environmental professionals, as space is limited.
This is a fantastic opportunity to refine your wildlife observation skills, deepen your understanding of animal behavior, and earn recognized certification in the process.
